Punjab Revenue Authority summons DJ Butt for explanation of income

LAHORE: The Punjab Revenue Authority has summoned famous music entity DJ Butt on 23 July, 2015 to explain his income from different events and taxes he paid.

Sources told Customs Today that the Punjab Revenue Authority has also served a notice of Rs 17.6 million. Notice of such a huge amount has been issued in the wake of sales tax. DJ But has earned hundreds of millions rupees from Islamabad sit-in last year by Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf and other rallies through out the country.

DJ Butt has claimed that PTI is defaulter of his payment of Rs 110 million more and he is in Islamabad now days for negotiation with PTI special committee. On the other hand DJ Butt said that he didn’t receive his money so where from he can pay sales tax.

DJ Butt said that he will approach Court against notice issued by Punjab Revenue Authority.
