According to Minister for General Administration Lal Babu Pandit, the government also appointed Gyani Yadav as a member of the Education Service Commission.

Two joint secretaries of the administration service—Binod Acharya of Prime Minister’s Office and Suresh Adhikari of Ministry of General Administration—have been transferred to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Sources say they would later be appointed as the Minister-Economic in Beijing and Consul General in Saudi Arabia respectively. The meeting also decided to hand over the ownership of Biratnagar City Hall and Guest House to Biratnagar Sub-metropolitan.
