Collector Mukaram appreciates staff for achieving target

LAHORE: Model Customs Collectorate Preventive Collector Mukarram Jah Ansari has lauded the performance of its staff for exceeding target by collecting additional 19 percent revenue for the financial year 2014-15.

Official source told Customs Today that the collector has appreciated all the additional collectors, deputy collectors, assistant collectors, superintendents, inspectors and other staff members.

The employees of the collectorate have played a vital role in not only achieving the target but surpassing it; officials quoted the collector as saying.

MCC Preventive, according to the data, collected Rs 29.843 billion against the target of Rs 25.067 billion. It exceeded its target of customs duty by Rs 1.07 billion.

Meanwhile it also beat its target of combined duties and taxes by Rs 4.66 billion as it total target was Rs 25.067 billion but it collected Rs 29.843 billion in fiscal year 2014-15.
