US Freight & Logistics Expo to start from Sep 20 in Florida

FLORIDA: As Florida works to boost its cargo business, Fort Lauderdale is preparing to host a major industry expo expected to attract key players in freight transport and logistics.

Some 2,000 people are expected Sept. 20-22 at the annual expo for the Intermodal Association of North America set for the Broward County Convention Center, organizers said.

Florida is organizing a pavilion at the expo to showcase the state’s ports and key companies that handle different modes of cargo transport by land, sea, rail and air. Businesses interested in exhibiting can register by July 17, said Enterprise Florida, the state’s economic development group.
