BEIJING: China’s exports, denominated in yuan, rose 2.1 percent in June from a year earlier, the General Administration of Customs said on Monday.
Yuan-denominated imports fell 6.7 percent in June from a year earlier, it said.
That produced a monthly trade surplus of 284.2 billion yuan ($45.77 billion).
In the first six months, yuan-denominated exports edged up 0.9 percent, while imports tumbled 15.5 percent, creating a trade surplus of 1.61 trillion yuan, according to the Customs department.
June trade figures as denominated in US dollars were not published yet.
