KARACHI: The Federal Ombudsman is going to conduct a study to further streamline working relations between Federal Tax Ombudsman and Federal Board of Revenue. This method will pave the way for resolution of the customers problems on priority basis.
Ahmed Associates will conduct this study. It will also find ways to further strengthen the working ties. The authorities are already finalizing terms of reference in this regard.
Well informed sources of FBR told this correspondent that Federal Tax Ombudsman already writes a letter to chairman FBR asking him to direct all concerned officials to extend full cooperation to Ahmad Associates.
Sources further revealed that through this study the above said Consultancy firm will study tax laws of various countries where tax departments are working closely, and their performance is also getting better shape.
