Customs ensures smooth clearance of cargo during Eid days

Karachi: With an aim to ensure smooth clearance of cargo, both import and export, during Eidul Fitr holidays, the Pakistan Customs has issued an Office Order No 62/2015 in which it assigned the tasks of different customs officials to be available to facilitate importers and exporters.

According to the schedule for Sunday, the second day of Eid, Javed Hassan, Principal Appraiser, Imran Aslam Gul, Appraising Officer, Abdul Aziz, Zulfikar Zaman, Appraising Officer and Nadeem Ahmed Khan would attend offices at the Assessment and Review Hall of Customs House.

And on the second day of Eid i.e. July 20, 2015, Principal Appraise Zahid Parvez, Javed Khalid, Appraising Officer, Iqbal Waris, Appraising Officer, Siddiq Zia, Appraising Officer and Shair Khan, Appraising Officer would be available for the importers.

While, Principal Appraiser S Javed Ahsan, Ameer Ahmad Samoo, Appraising Officer, Muhammad Khalid, Appraising Officer, Muhammad Ahmed, Appraising Officer and Abdul Kalam, Appraising Officer would be available for the clearance of import cargos on the third day of Eidul Fitr i.e. Tuesday, July 21, 2015.

“Any defiance to the orders will be viewed seriously in accordance with the Government Servants (Efficiency & Discipline) Rules, 1973”, according to the office order issued by the Deputy Collector, Establishment, Dr Noman Khan.
