Finland receives €100m data centre investment

HELSINKI: The new data centre will be built into an existing underground cave that offers security with its several tunnels. Major renovation work is ongoing at the moment. Finnish-Israeli startup company Aiber Networks has signed an agreement with the city of Tampere in Finland on building a new high security data centre to Tampere.The company has already received two million euros investment and it is going to raise its investments to several million euros. Maximum investment to Tampere will be around 50 to 100 million euros. The main investor is Daniel Levin, chairman of the board of Aiber networks and CEO of Aiber group.
