KIEV: According to the customs statistics data, in June 2015 Ukraine exported 348.4 thsd tonnes of sunflower oil, an increase of 31% compared with May 2015, but down 8% compared with the same month in 2014.
In June 2015, India imported the largest volumes of sunflower oil of Ukrainian origin (104 thsd tonnes, or 30% of the export volumes). Also, Iran received 43.5 thsd tonnes of sunflower oil (12%), China – 38.8 thsd tonnes (11%), according to APK.
Thus, during 10 months of 2014/15 MY (September-June), Ukraine supplied 3.4 mln tonnes of sunflower oil on foreign markets, down 4% compared with the same period last season.
