Yousfani says WeBOC App for iPhones to be fully operational soon

KARACHI: Directorate of Reforms and Automation Director Majid Yousfani has said that the Web-Based One Customs (WeBOC) application for iPhones will be made fully operational very soon to facilitate importers and the exporters.

While talking to Customs Today, the director said that the WeBOC application for iPhone has been developed and it was under testing procedures to find and remove the shortcomings if any.

He said trader and clearing agent can download this application from App store of iPhones free of cost, besides trader/clearing agent will be able to login to the WeBOC system through this application by using their already issued unique user ID and password of WeBOC system

This application will be proved helpful as the importers and exporters can check the status of their goods declarations, arrival of shipments, vessels and others, Majid Yousfani said.
