UAE police foils attempt to smuggle 10.8m tramadol pills on Eid Al Fitr

RAS AL KHAIMAH: Ras Al Khaimah police have foiled an attempt to smuggle 10.8 million Tramadol pills to an Arab-African country through the emirate on the first day of Eid Al Fitr.

The drugs, with an estimated street value of Dh3 million, were carried by smugglers on a cargo plane bound for Ras Al Khaimah International Airport from an Asian country, said Maj Gen Ali Al Nuaimi, commander-in-chief of RAK police.
