KOCHI: In a major haul of smuggled drugs, customs personnel arrested a South African woman after over 14 kg of drugs, worth Rs 20 crore, were allegedly recovered from her at the international airport at Nedumbassery here.
Customs officials said the woman was about to leave for Doha last evening when the drugs were detected in her baggage.
They said a test confirmed that she was carrying 14.580 kg of drugs, worth Rs 20 crore.
Customs officials said that they are probing whether she was part of a racket involved in smuggling drugs out of the country.
