Looking on League of Legends boards plenty of players highlight bugs caused by patch

TOKYO: It looks like the League of Legends Patch 5.14 has hit the game with a bang, especially for Mac owners. Just looking on Reddit, people are already complaining that the game is broken and plenty are taking to forums to report the same issues.

Looking on the League of Legends boards plenty of players are highlighting bugs that have apparently been caused by the patch, and they are not happy about it. Getting kicked out of the game after 5 minutes of gameplay seems to be unpopular to people trying to enjoy the game.

With bugs such as turning the shops background red, assets not loading correctly, and the random game crashes, it comes as no surprise that fans aren’t happy. Riot Games will no doubt be aware of the user frustration and will be looking into fixing it, though why it happened in the first place will be one of the questions being asked.

Normally patches are tested to make sure that they don’t have a detrimental impact on the game, and League of Legends is not the only victim to this type of problematic release. Only last week console owners found that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt update hit the quality of their game with Eurogamer even looking at if people should bother installing the update at all.

It seems with League of Legends patch 5.14; it may not have been ready for the Mac version of the game, or for some reason not tested well enough. Riot Games are likely to take action soon though, even if it is just to rollback the “improvements” and get the game into working order for the frustrated players.
