From the third quarter of the year, this latest integration will generate license revenue, whose value will be determined based on the number of sensors FPC delivers to the mobile phone manufacturer.

”We have established a strong position among mobile device manufacturers through the strength of our solution and our flexibility in meeting customer needs,” said Håkan Persson, CEO of Precise Biometrics.

Using Precise BioMatch Mobile, fingerprint matching functionality can be easily integrated into smartphones and tablets, and is optimized for small touch sensors in mobile environments through a unique patented hybrid algorithm.

The software ensures a fast, accurate, and secure verification of the user’s identity, providing a seamless user experience for consumers when unlocking their mobile device or authenticating to services, in addition to providing improved security.

Previously reported, Precise Biometrics partnered with Fingerprint Cards to integrate Precise BioMatch Mobile in two new smartphones from Chinese manufacturers.
