Apple releases its fourth beta for upcoming iOS 9 mobile OS

NEW YORK: Apple has released its fourth beta for the upcoming iOS 9 mobile OS. Apple released the previous beta two weeks ago to the general public. This is the second public iOS beta release by Apple which brings in plenty of bug fixes and improvements over the previous beta versions, as reported by BGR.

The full fledged iOS 9 is said to be announce alongside the next iteration of iPhone in the fall.

Apple announced the iOS 9 at this year’s WWDC in April. They have promised that this release will be more stable than the previous iterations, iOS 7 and iOS 8. Some of the significant improvements and features include a more intelligent Siri with context awareness for many situations. Public transportation data has been added to Apple Maps. There have vast improvements in the Notes application making it easier to create checklists. The multitasking capabilities have also been impreved.

The beta for iOS 9 is still filled with bugs, only developers and advanced users are suggested to update so that they can report the bugs back to Apple and further improvements can be done to make the iOS more stable.

Check your Settings menu if you are on iOS 9 beta and haven’t received the latest update.
