BRUSSELS: Iran’s President Hassan Rouhani and the visiting EU foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini urged commitment to steady and full implementation of the recent deal on Iran’s nuclear program.
We should focus on the precise and full implementation of it, which will benefit the entire world,” Rouhani said in a meeting with Mogherini.
Rouhani described the Vienna nuclear deal as an example of diplomatic efforts to settle other issues in the world, adding that Iran is committed to its obligations under the deal, and accurate implementation of it.
For her part, Mogherini described the deal as a step towards world peace. “On the behalf of the EU, we unanimously support the deal and will try to implement the agreement accurately and timely,” she said.
All parties involved in the recent agreement over Iran’s nuclear program should also be committed to the steady implementation of the deal, Mogherini said.
