FLORIDA: The Spring Hill Chamber of Commerce official has appointed a new executive director, according to Chamber Chairman Will T. Tenpenny. Lauren Magli has accepted the position and will begin Aug. 4.
She replaces Natalie Kiern who has resigned to spend time with her husband and start a family. “At the first of this year, we knew Natalie was interested in stepping down as executive director,” Tenpenny said. “With her husband David’s success in the filming industry, he’s traveling all over the world and is gone eight to 10 weeks at a time in another country.
For the past six years, she worked in Destin, Fla. As director of events and marketing for the Destin Charity Wine Auction Foundation. During her tenure with the company, she raised charitable contributions from $864,000 to $2,035,000, a 135 percent increase.
