LAHORE: The Regional Tax Office-I has restored the bank accounts of the member of Punjab Assembly, Ghulam Dasgtir Lak, on the stay order issued by the Inland Revenue Appellate Tribunal.
The Inland Revenue Appellate Tribunal issued stay order in favour of LaK for a period of one month in which the MPA will have to deposit all taxes payable against him.
Ghulam Dastgir Lak is tax defaulter of Rs 13 millions after which RTO was freeze his bank account in month of June, 2015 and also write letter to Punjab Assembly in this regard.
Sources told Customs Today if the defaulter will fail to deposit the outstanding amount against him then stay order may be suspended.
