WARSAW: Poland’s GDP likely grew by 3.8% year on year in Q2 2015 following a 3.6% reading in Q1 2015, and should grow by 3.8% in FY2015, the Economy Ministry said in its monthly report.
In FY2015, consumption should grow by 3.5% (versus a previous Economy Ministry’s forecast of 3.8%) and investments are seen growing by 4.7% in annual terms (vs. 5.3% earlier). Poland’s Central Statistics Office (GUS) will provide preliminary Q2 GDP growth data on August 14.
