Wickedleak introduces new smartphone in India, Wammy Neo 3, priced at Rs. 15,990

NEW Delhi: Wickedleak has launched a new smartphone in India, the Wammy Neo 3, priced at Rs. 15,990. It will be available via the company’s own site from Saturday.

The dual-SIM (Micro-SIM) Android 5.1 Lollipop-based smartphone features a 5.5-inch (1080×1920 pixel) IPS OGS display with a pixel density of 401ppi. The Wickedleak Wammy Neo 3 is powered by a 1.7GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6752 SoC coupled with 3GB of LPDDR3 RAM.

The Wammy Neo 3 sports a 14-megapixel rear camera with flash, and a 4.9-megapixel front-facing 84-degree wide-angle camera. It bears 16GB of inbuilt storage that’s expandable via microSD card (up to 64GB). Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS/ A-GPS, HotKnot, and Micro-USB with OTG support.

The large-screen smartphone is powered by a 3000mAh battery, measures 152×75.5×8.7mm, and weighs 177 grams. The Wickedleak Wammy Neo 3 bears an ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, accelerometer, magnetometer, and gyroscope. It’s available in a Black colour variant.

Aditya Mehta, CEO, Wickedleak, commented on the launch, “With the launch of Wammy Neo 3, we intend to get premium devices in the hands of consumers at extremely competitive price points. At the same time, we are ensuring that the consumers would get all the latest specifications like 3GB DDR3 RAM and 64-bit processors”.

Wickedleak in June launched a new smartphone in its Note lineup, the Wammy Note 4, priced at Rs. 14,990. The dual-SIM (Micro-SIM) dual-standby smartphone runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat, features a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080×1980 pixels) display, and is powered by a 64-bit 1.7GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6752 processor coupled with 3GB of LPDDR3 RAM.
