Egypt seeks strong trade ties with Pakistan: Envoy

SIALKOT: Said Mohamed Elsaid Hindam, the Egyptian ambassador to Pakistan, has stressed the need for promoting strong trade relations between Pakistan and Egypt, inviting the Gujranwala business community to focus on business with Egypt having all the trade related benefits in Egypt.

He stated this while addressing an important meeting of local business community held at Gujranwala Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI) here.  GCCI Acting President Kashif A. Malik, vice president Babu Imtiaz Hussain and some other local leading industrialists were also present on this occasion.

Egyptian Envoy assured his full cooperation in exploring the mutual business opportunities between Pakistan and Egypt, saying that the Gujranwala based industrialists and exporters could explore and capture the international trade markets of Egypt and neighboring countries through Egypt by exporting its world class diversified traditional and non-traditional export products there.

Egyptian Ambassador added that the Egypt intending to develop the strong mutual trade relations with Pakistan.  He said that the Egypt was developing its strong trade relations with Pakistan .

Egyptian envoy said that the era of developing the strong trade relations with Pakistan has begun and Egypt was ready to walk step by step with Pakistan to achieve the goal of developed mutual trade relations with Pakistan.

Addressing the meeting, acting president of GCCI Kashif A. Aziz said that the time was ripe to develop the strong trade relations between Pakistan and Egypt, besides, learning from each other’s strength and expertise.

He added that both sides need to make concerted  efforts to improve bilateral trade as there were immense possibilities and huge potential to improve  bilateral trade Pakistan and Egypt though the joint ventures  and cooperation in  various sectors, which might be exploited optimally.
