Traders decide not to stage big protest before Independence Day

KARACHI: The Sindh Tajir Ittehad has announced not to stage big protest rallies until Independence Day. On the other hands, they have decided to celebrate independence day with more zeal and enthusiasm.

Talking to Customs Today, chairman of Sindh Tajir Ittehad Jameel Ahmed Piracha has said that as independence day of Pakistan is approaching fast and we love our country so in view of independence day we have decided not to hold big protest rallies against withholding tax on banking transactions.

He said, we already protested on 1st August to register our protest against the levy of withholding tax now we have suspend our protest in view of independence day.

He said, only Sindh Tajir Ittehad is true body representing all trade communities of Sindh all traders all across Sindh endorsed our decision. He further said that traders will hold protest rallies against levy of withholding tax soon after independence day.
