CM lauds work pace on Chiniot iron ore project

LAHORE: Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, reviewing Chiniot-Rajwa Iron Ore Exploration Project, has expressed satisfaction over the pace of work.

Resident Consultant of GEOS, a prominent German company, Dr Jurgen Hartsch gave the briefing to the chief minister on the project. Utilisation of iron ore reserves in area, estimate of their volume and the availability of other mineral resources in the area were also discussed in the meeting, which was also attended by Dr Liu Shuxiang of Metallurgical Corporation of China, Punjab Mineral Company Chairman Dr Samar Mubarakmand, Secretary Dr Arshad Mahmood and Project Manager Shahzad Rafi.
