BEIJING: After the launch of its high-end MX5, the Chinese smartphone maker Meizu might be planning to release an even more powerful handset, the MX5 Pro. According to a recent leak, the Meizu MX5 Pro is going to feature some really impressive hardware, including a whopping 41MP rear camera sensor that should surprise most.
KJuma has revealed the key specifications of the upcoming smartphone, reports Weibo. If the leaked details are to be believed, the MX5 Pro sports a 5.5-inch screen with a 2K resolution. While Meizu’s previous flagship MX4 Pro featured Exynos 5430, the new smartphone is expected to pack Exynos 7420, Samsung’s high-performing 14 nm FinFET SoC.
However, the most notable feature, as leaked by the report, is the rear camera sensor. The MX5 Pro is alleged to feature a staggering 41MP rear camera sensor, coupled by a 13MP front camera shooter, which is again, very impressive.
Moreover, the device has been leaked to incorporate a large 4,100 mAh battery. As for the pricing, the MX5 Pro will reportedly cost 2,999 Yuan, or $483 USD, for the 32 GB model.
Keep in mind that nothing is official as of yet, so you should better take this leak with a grain of salt. However, if the leak turns out to be true, then MX5 Pro will become the world’s second smartphone to sport a 41MP rear camera sensor after Nokia Lumia 1020.
