LONDON: British law firm Taylor Vinters has announced the launch of its third annual TechConnection event, a trade mission which will introduce high-growth UK technology businesses to Singapore to “open up a business gateway to Asia”.

There are still spaces for tech companies to join the trade mission on 22 September 2015, which will showcase emerging British technology talent and foster relationships with strategic partners and investors in Singapore.

The event – established in 2013 to help tech companies launch operations in Asia – will be followed by a reception hosted by His Excellency Scott Wightman; British high commissioner to Singapore.

The mission is running in partnership with the British and Singaporean governments via UK Trade & Investment (UKTI), the Foreign & Commonwealth Office and the Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore.

Henry Goodwin, a Singapore-based Partner at Taylor Vinters, said:

Singapore should be the first port of call for UK tech companies keen to break into the vibrant and compelling markets of South East Asia and beyond.

As the first ‘Smart Nation’ it is highly connected, technologically sophisticated and a ‘business-safe’ gateway to the Asia region. Our TechConnection event will, connect ambitious UK technology companies with investors, businesses and government agencies.”
