SYDNEY: Two men are facing serious drug charges after police seized more than one kilogram of methylamphetamine or ‘ice’ from a car at Jugiong over the weekend.
Police stopped the vehicle on the Hume Highway shortly after 5:30pm (AEST) on Saturday afternoon.
Officers allege they found the drugs in the boot of the car, which have been seized for forensic investigation.
The 37-year-old driver and his 19 year old passenger have both been charged with supplying a commercial quantity of drugs and possessing a prohibited drug.
The pair were refused bail yesterday, and are due in Wagga Wagga Local Court today.
