LAHORE: Customs and Airport Security Force officials have ‘briefly detained’ Indian pop singer Sukhbir Singh over carrying more than allowed cash at Allama Iqbal International Airport.
According to the official sources, Singh was arrested carrying $29,000 on a counter after dodging Customs check point. They said that the officials recovered the amount, however, later Singh slipped out of the airport leaving his Dubai-bound flight PK203. He is in the city though, they added.
