MEXICO: Mexico’s largest industrial chamber organization inks a deal with Building an International Economic Network (IEN) or BIEN.The fledgling matching service for businesses wanting to enter the global market place gets a big boost Aug. 20 BIEN.
Which is now approaching 800 company members, is a free service of the Maricopa Association of Governments designed to match Phoenix area businesses with trading partners in foreign countries.
The startup service focused on Arizona’s largest trading partner, Mexico, for the initial offerings. Being joined by Mexico’s National Chamber of Industry Transformation, Canacintra brings in more than 1,000 companies south of the border as potential matches.A signing ceremony with state, MAG and local officials is scheduled in Tucson in two weeks at the League of Arizona Cities and Towns Annual Conference.
