The North Texas GLBT Chamber of Commerce’s Welcome Everyone campaign has gained some traction.In Dallas suburbs, protections for LGBT residents are a patchwork between the times my story about this was finished and when it ran the effort has gone national.
Waylon Tate, a chamber spokesman, said they’ve had requests for the stickers and counter signs from 11 other states. Those are Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New York, Ohio and Pennsylvania.
