LONDON: Millions of people in various parts of the globe recently witnessed this year’s Perseid meteor shower, thanks to perfect weather conditions.
In addition to astronomers and astro-photographers, many people eagerly wait for such celestial events to watch and capture meteors as they blaze across the horizon.
Many people wish together on tiny stars, whether or not they come true. They love to wish as wishes are worth wishing irrespective of truth. There would be, perhaps, big storybook endings to people’s wishes that they attach to those shooting stars that streak above us in the darkness.
