Directorate Customs Intelligence establishes ‘Car Cell’

ISLAMABAD: A special car cell has been setup in the Directorate of Customs Intelligence and Investigation.

The Customs intelligence and investigation director general has issued an Order C. NO. 7(2) DGCI/Admin/2014/3134 in this regard. The eight-member cell will be responsible for seizure of non-cutom paid and smuggled vehicles.  The headquarters will keep an eye on the activities of the cell.  Ahmed Nawaz Shah will head the celll. Rest of the members are Senior Intelligence Officer Javed Akhtar, Intelligence Officer Gul Nawaz Khan, Intelligence Officer Sajid Mehboob, LDC Shahid Latif, Sentry Qazi Idrees, Sepoy Ejaz Ahmed and driver Muhammad Irfan.
