Appraisement-West to collect duty, taxes till 10pm today

KARACHI: The Model Customs Collectorate (MCC) of Appraisement-West has extended its office timings on Monday (29-09-2014) and Tuesday (30-09-2014 for the collection of duty/taxes.

According to the circular issued by the Office of the Assistant Collector (Establishment), Muhammad Akbar Jan, the collection of duty/taxes would be conducted by the authorized branches of State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) and National Institute of Facilitation Technologies (NIFT) with extended timings on Monday till 8.00pm and Tuesday till 10.00pm respectively.

The circular stated, in pursuance of Board’s letter No.1 (8)/Rev. Bud/2014, the authorities concerned directed to convey that the offices of MCC-Appraisement (West), Customs House, Karachi will observe office timings till 8.00pm on 29-09-2014 (Monday) and until 10.00pm on 30-09-2014 (Tuesday), adding that all officers/officials are requested to ensure compliance.
