Customs, Inland Revenue officers granted performance allowance

ISLAMABAD: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has restored/granted performance allowance (equivalent to 100% of basic pay) to Pakistan Customs Service (PCS) and Inland Revenue Service (IRS) officers.

The performance allowance in respect of Tahir Habib Cheema, (PCS/BS-18) presently posted as Second Secretary, FBR (HQ), Islamabad, has been restored with effect from June 01, 2015.

Saiqa Abbas, PCS/BS-17 presently posted as Assistant Collector (Prob), Model Customs Collectorate, Peshawar, selected through the process of internal job posting (IJP), has been granted performance allowance with effect from July 27, 2015.

According to the notification, grant of the allowance will be governed through the terms and conditions laid down vide Circular No. C.No. 6(96)S(BIC)/2013-14 dated 06.03.2015 and will be discontinued in case prescribed terms and conditions are not fulfilled within one month from the date of issuance of this notification.

Meanwhile, the performance allowance in respect of Rashid Hussain Jamali, BS-19 officer of Inland Revenue Service, presently posted as Additional Commissioner-IR, Regional Tax Office-III, Karachi, has been restored with effect from February 12, 2015.
