WASHINGTON: Bristol Mall will be sold to the highest bidder at a foreclosure auction. Attorneys from the Law Offices of Blankenship and Keith are handling the proceedings. Interested parties must have a $1 million deposit in hand at the auction. Bristol Chamber of Commerce President Beth Rhinehart said the auction is an opportunity for someone to rejuvenate the shopping center.
I think it would be great if we could get an organization in here an individual who wants to reinvest in the mall and really see it back to life, so I think the auction that’s upcoming has the opportunity to provide that, said Rhinehart.
Rhinehart said a few interested buyers have approached the city about the possibility of buying the property.Rhinehart said the chamber would be happy with any business that would promote jobs and promote building the area back up.
