The officials also shared their views about Saqib and lauded his services for the Customs Department.

They highlighted their posting experiences with him and were of the opinion that it was a pleasure serving with him as a colleague as well as his juniors.

They said he has contributed significantly in the development of the Customs Department and has a number of achievements to his credit.

“I feel some comfort in looking back in my service. I am grateful to God who gave me the opportunity and beg His forgiveness for my omissions. First of all I would like to thank the chairman and member Customs for their consideration and help in my bad patch. Now I would like to say Khuda Hafiz to all my colleagues and service fellows that include ladies,” he told Customs Today earlier.
