WARSAW: The number of consumer bankruptcies dropped in Poland in July, data prepared by Bisnode Polska researcher show. The number of Poles declaring bankrupt stood at 68 in July, a slide from 240 announced bankrupt in the prior months.
Lower number of consumer bankruptcies is an announcement of stabilization, an economist of employers’ lobby Lewiatan Malgorzata Starczewska-Krzysztoszek said. Situation in the Polish economy is improving, which translates into a better situation of households, she said.
