Pak, Denmark need to enhance trade ties: Danish Minister

ISLAMABAD: Danish Minister for Trade and Development Mogens Jensen has said that Denmark and Pakistan can enhance trade ties with mutual efforts.

He said this while calling on a delegation of seven Pakistani companies in Denmark. Jensen said that Pakistan needs to apply new innovations in all the fields including education, technology and moreover in business and Denmark can help grow Pakistan in all of these sectors.

During their weeklong visit, the Pakistani companies visited such sectors as renewable energy, energy efficiency, and water technology.

EMR Consult Director Farhat Ali was also part of the delegation. On his return to Pakistan, he said the visit was extremely fruitful. He expressed that the discussion was very promising with Danish wind energy companies.

‘Denmark is a frontrunner in renewable energy, so it has indeed been a valuable experience to witness the good development and technology given by Danish companies,’ he asserted.

In the meanwhile, Buksh Energy Director Fiza Farhan was also present there. She expressed the tour was really amazing and it could be a revolutionary step for Pakistan if it adopts renewable energy solutions offered by Danish companies.
