2016 Toyota Tacoma brings evolutionary design, along with some styling cues borrowed from 4Runner

TOKYO: According to the car manufacturer, the 2016 Toyota Tacoma can be yours from 23,300 USD, and it is bringing an evolutionary design, along with some styling cues borrowed from the 4Runner. The model in question has an “easy lowering” tailgate, muscular fenders, a prominent front grille, several wheel choices ranging between 16- and 18-inch and several other goodies. Toyota says that the entry-level SR5 will be bringing the power windows and locks, the tilt and telescoping multi-function steering wheel, the air conditioner, the six-speaker audio system, the GoPro camera, Entune Audio system with a 6.1-inch touch screen display, the USB / AUX / Bluetooth and so on.

The 2016 Toyota Tacoma will become available with a choice of two engines. These will include the 2.7 liter four-cylinder unit, in the entry-level variant, rated at 159 HP (118 kW) and 243 Nm (180 lb-ft) of torque, returning 19 / 23 / 21 mpg in city / highway / combined. There is also a 3.5 liter V6, producing 278 HP (207 kW) and 358 Nm (265 lb-ft) of torque. This is returning 19 / 24 / 21 mpg in city / highway / combined. Engines can be connected to a 5-speed manual, a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission. RWD is standard and 4WD is offered as an option. The pricing of the vehicle excludes the 900 USD delivery fee.
