Oklahoma Meinders School of Business nominates 5 businesses, community leaders for Hall of Honor

OKLAHOMA: Five business and community leaders will be honored with induction into Oklahoma City University’s (OCU) Meinders School of Business 29th annual Oklahoma Commerce & Industry Hall of Honor.The 2015 inductees are Nancy Anthony, Lifetime Achievement Award; Bill Lance, Outstanding Achievement Award; William Durrett, Chairman’s Award; Linda Lambert, Entrepreneurial Spirit Award; and Ed Martin, President’s Award.

The award luncheon will be Oct. 14 at the Cox Convention Center. In addition to recognizing members of the business community, the Oklahoma Commerce & Industry Hall of Honor luncheon benefits the Meinders School of Business scholarship program.

Nancy Anthony joined the Oklahoma City Community Foundation as executive director in 1985 when it had assets of $20 million and one other full-time employee. She has helped direct the growth of the Community Foundation to assets of more than $800 million. The Community Foundation has 33 full-time employees and makes average annual distributions to the Oklahoma City community of $30 million.
