Motorola to introduce two new versions of Moto X in India by next month

NEW DELHI: Motorola launched its Moto G 2015 version in India earlier this month. The company has also announced two new versions of Moto X called Moto X Style and Moto X Play. Motorola announced the phones at a keynote in US. As per BGR reports, the company might be launching the new Moto X in India by next month.

Motorola India GM, Amit Boni himself has confirmed that Motorola will be launching the new Moto X in India. Whether they will launch both the models and either one in India is still unknown.

The Moto X Style is powered by a Snapdragon 1.8GHz hexa-core 808 SoC along with 3GB of RAM. It comes with a 5.7-inch QHD display. A 21MP primary camera and 5MP secondary camera will keep all the photography enthusiasts happy. The phone will run an almost stock Android Lollipop 5.1.1. The smartphone will be coming with a 3,000mAh and 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB storage variants. All variants will support expansion via microSD card slot. The phone comes with a price tag of $399 (Rs.26, 048).

The Moto X Play is the economical one in the Moto X series. Sporting a 5.5-inch Full HD display, the phone will be sporting a mammoth 3,630 mAh battery. Powered by a Snapdragon 1.7GHz octa-core 615 SoC and 2GB RAM, the phone also has a 21M primary camera and a 5MP camera secondary camera. The phone comes in two storage variants – 16GB and 32GB expandable via microSD card. It comes with a price tag of $299 (Rs.19, 520).
