Charleston Chamber to host travel program to Sedona, Arizona

ARIZONA: The Charleston Chamber is excited to announce that they will be hosting a travel program to Sedona, Arizona and the nearby Grand Canyon next spring from April 17-22.Included in the travel itinerary are two separate rail journeys. The first rail trip is out to the awe inspiring south rim of the Grand Canyon and the second one is a spectacular four-hour ride between two national forests, past crimson cliffs, over old-fashioned trestles and through a 680-foot tunnel.

Highlights of the tour include the Sedona Trolley Tour, a visit to uptown Sedona and the Spanish-Mexican village of Tlaquepaque, a drive through the amazing Oak Canyon Creek, a visit to the Montezuma Castle National Monument, dinner in Flagstaff at Black Bart’s Steakhouse & Saloon and a chuckwagon style supper and Western Stage Show.

An optional guided Jeep tour into the Sedona back country is also available on the second day. The final day is spent traveling to Old Town Scottsdale where Western storefronts recreate an atmosphere of the past. Later that day the group will fly out of Phoenix and return to St. Louis.
