Multan Dry Port declares E-form submission mandatory for export consignments‏

MULTAN: Multan Dry Port Trust has directed all clearing agents to submit E-form before the clearance of any export consignment from the Multan Dry Port.

The management of Multan Dry Port Trust have informed all the clearing agents to ensure the submission of E-form before clearing of any export consignments. To avoid any sort of inconvenience at the time of clearance exporters or their clearing agebts must submit E-form before shipment of export container from Multan Dry Port.

Multan Dry Port trust have informed all the export clients for the clearance of their export consignments as Karachi Port have instructed them to provide E-form of every consignment at the time of clearance.

Few export consignments have faced the issue of missing E-form at the Karachi Port in which their clearing agents have not submitted E-form at the time of export from Multan Dry Port. Then after few incidents General Manager Multan Dry Port Trust has declared E-form mandatory requirement for the clearance of export consignment from the Multan Dry Port Trust.

In case if exporters failed to submit E-form for the export of their consignment their consignment will remain in the possession of the Multan Dry Port Trust.
