ISLAMABAD: The Directorate Customs Investigation and Intelligence Islamabad urged the government to establish forensic laboratory at Islamabad Dry Port.

As per details, fabric importers from across the country preferred to import fabric through Islamabad Dry Port due to unavailability of forensic lab which saves them from any charge over their mis-declarations in import of clothes. The port authority has decided to write a letter to Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) for lab establishment but later the decision was changed due to uncertain circumstances.
