KARACHI: The blast furnace of Pakistan Steel Mills has stopped working due to leakage which further halted the mill operations. Pakistan Steel Mill, suffering from severe financial and management crisis, has only two blast furnaces; one was closed due to deficiency of raw material for many months. The other furnace working in mill has stopped operations due to leakage as the work started after Eid holidays.

The employees were also worried as if it continues they have to face the similar situation of non-payment as they had faced earlier.
