The officer detected a strong odor of alcohol from inside the vehicle and asked the driver to identify himself.

The driver initially said his name was Alex Hernandez and presented a Kentucky identification. It was however revealed during the stop that man had never received a valid driver’s license. Further investigation revealed the driver was using a fake name as well.

“Hernandez” was actually 36-year-old Jorge Tenorio Zabala from Princeton. Zabala was taken to the Gibson County Jail where tests showed he had a blood alcohol level of .08%.

Zabala is now being held for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement and faces charges of driving while intoxicated, operating a vehicle without a license, false government identification and having a false driver’s license.
