KUWAIT CITY: Kuwait airport customs arrested an Asian woman who tried to smuggle marijuana stuffed in a jar of honey.
The woman had cleared passport control and was heading towards customs security.
According to Al Watan daily, the woman appeared confused which raised suspicion among the custom officials who decided to search her bags.
The bag contained a large jar of honey with marijuana hidden in the jar.
It seemed the amount of marijuana was more than honey, according to Kuwait custom officials.
She was arrested and was referred to the concerned authorities.
