HONG KONG: Hong Kong stocks have climbed more than one per cent as investors returned from a one-day holiday.
The benchmark Hang Seng Index rose 1.07 per cent, or 223.99 points, to 21,158.93 at the start of trade on Friday.
Volatility has been curbed with Chinese markets closed until next week.
