KIEV: Officials with the Ukraine and Albania met on Sept. 3 to discuss prospects for increasing trade of agriculture products between the two nations.
The meeting was part of the VII International Economic Forum: “Innovations. Investments. Kharkiv Initiatives.” In the first seven months of the year, trade of agricultural products between the two nations amounted to $4.26 million.
Ukraine is able to increase exports of a number of commodity groups, said Vladislav Rutytska, deputy minister of agrarian policy and food of Ukraine for European integration.
“Sure, we have a much greater potential for bilateral cooperation. We are interested to increase the export of grain and other agricultural products on the Albanian market,” Rutytska said, including packed sunflower oil, refined oil, margarine and special fats.
