Auditor exonerated in corruption case

ISLAMABAD: The competent authority of Federal Board of Revenue has exonerated Mian Muhammad Shahzad, Auditor (BS-16), posted at Regional Tax Office, Rawalpindi from the charges inefficiency, misconduct and corruption levelled against him.

As per detail, the disciplinary proceedings were initiated against the said officer under the Government Servants (Efficiency & Discipline) Rules, 1973 vide Charge Sheet dated 24.02.2015 on the charges of ‘inefficiency, misconduct & corruption’. The Inquiry officer submitted his Inquiry Report on 27.07.2015 and dropped all the charges levelled against the accused officer.
