MEXICO: Google’s new feature makes it easier to find quick info about particular health conditions and illnesses including details such as symptoms, treatments, and cures, in order to self-diagnose a sickness. The search engine giant has doubled its disease database to now include 900 ailments that can be accessed from desktops, smartphones, and tablets, including neglected tropical diseases (NTD) such as dengue fever.
First unveiled in February, the company’s search feature for health information provides a separate box that appears when users search for a particular condition.
